A few weeks ago we checked our mail box to find these two fabulous pics of our house from the 1980’s! A gift from Margaret a Currarong local. It was like finding lost treasure. We were so excited. We will never ever take owning such a Currarong icon for granted. We love our quirky 🦋🏠

What a find! We had asked the Currarong Community if anyone had any old pictures of our 🦋🏠 and look what our neighbour Pinny gifted us last week. That’s Pin’s Dad’s car out the front of his original house next door to ours. If you zoom in you can see someone standing next to the curtains. Any guesses on the year this was taken? 1960’s but which year? 🦋🏠

This was taken on the 10th July 2023 at 9.07am (exactly 2 years ago today). We nervously sat waiting in our lawyers office for the paperwork to come through from the vendors lawyer.

We found ourselves in a strange and unusual situation. A competition of sorts. We needed to be the first to get the paperwork signed, the deposit paid and everything settled before the other interested buyers did in order for us to secure our 🦋🏠It felt like we were in The Amazing Race. Some ingenuity and quick thinking from our amazing lawyers meant we were first. Numero Uno baby!

The rest is history!!!! Happy GOTCHA day to us and our beloved Butterfly House. We will forever be grateful to @pitt109 and Chris. Without these two fabulous and generous humans (and Oscar for his quick thinking🍫🍓) we would never have GOTCHA 🦋🏠 🙏
